Greg Worobec
Greg was born in Mayo, Yukon Territory and after living in Edmonton for a short period moved with his family to Sherwood Park in 1971. He graduated from Salisbury Composite High School and went on to have several different occupations, including musician, rig worker, bank employee and entrepreneur. Greg returned to school in 1989, completing two years at Grant McEwan Community College before being accepted in Law School at the University of Victoria. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1994 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995. Greg returned to Sherwood Park in 2001, was called to Alberta Bar in 2003 and opened Worobec Law Offices in January of 2004. Mr. Worobec practices primarily Criminal Defence Law and assists each of the lawyers at Worobec Law Offices in their specific areas of practice.
When I began Worobec Law Offices back in my hometown of Sherwood Park, I hoped to be able to grow the firm beyond just my Criminal Defence practice to include knowledgeable lawyers who would offer clients quality legal assistance in a broad range of matters – and I am very proud to have achieved that goal. I still enjoy personally representing clients charged with criminal offences but also find great satisfaction in the mentorship aspect of taking young talented lawyers and helping them realize their potential in their chosen area of legal practice.
